Jansportu Terms of Purchase

These Terms of Purchase (“Terms”) govern your purchase of backpacks, bags, totes, and accessories (collectively, “Products”) from Jansportu (via our website jansportu.com, “Website”). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and other applicable policies referenced herein. Please read these Terms carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Order Confirmation

  • When you submit an order through our Website, you are making a binding offer to purchase the selected Products. We reserve the right to accept or reject your order in our sole discretion (e.g., if Products are out of stock, pricing is incorrect, or we suspect fraudulent activity).
  • Upon accepting your order, we will send a order confirmation email to the email address you provided. This email will include your order number, details of the Products purchased, total amount charged (in USD), and shipping information. The order confirmation constitutes a valid contract between you and Jansportu.
  • If we are unable to accept your order (e.g., due to stock unavailability after you place the order), we will notify you via email within 24 business hours and issue a full refund for any payment already processed.

2. Shipping & Delivery

  • Order Processing Time: We aim to process and ship all orders within 1-3 business days from the date of order confirmation (excluding weekends, major holidays, and peak shopping periods). Processing time may be extended by 1-2 days for customized or personalized Products (clearly noted on the Product page).
  • Delivery Timeline: Regardless of your shipping destination (global), all orders will be delivered within 6-12 business days from the date of shipment. This timeline includes standard transit time and does not account for unforeseen delays caused by customs processing (for international orders), natural disasters, or carrier disruptions—we will notify you promptly if such delays occur.
  • Shipping Costs: Jansportu offers global free shipping on all orders, with no minimum purchase requirement. No additional shipping fees will be charged at checkout or during delivery, regardless of your location.
  • Shipping Carrier: We partner with trusted global shipping carriers to deliver your order. A tracking number will be provided via email once your order ships, allowing you to monitor the delivery status of your package.
  • Delivery Responsibility: We are responsible for ensuring your order is shipped in a timely manner and in good condition. Once the package is delivered (as confirmed by the shipping carrier’s tracking information), responsibility for the Products passes to you. 3. Payment Terms

  • Currency: All prices displayed on the Website, as well as order totals, payments, and refunds, are quoted and processed in United States Dollars (USD). If your payment method uses a different currency, your financial institution will convert the amount to your local currency at their applicable exchange rate—Jansportu is not responsible for any currency conversion fees or rate fluctuations.

  • Payment Authorization: By providing your payment details, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the total order amount to your selected payment method. We may pre-authorize the payment amount to verify the validity of the payment method before processing the order.
  • Pricing Accuracy: We strive to ensure all Product prices on the Website are accurate. However, if a pricing error is identified (e.g., a typo, incorrect discount application), we will notify you immediately. You may then choose to cancel the order (with a full refund if payment was processed) or proceed with the correct price.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • Return Eligibility: You may return any unused, undamaged Product (in its original packaging, with all tags and accessories intact) for a refund within 60 days from the date of delivery. The 60-day return window applies to all Products, except:
    • Customized or personalized Products (unless they arrive with a manufacturing defect).
    • Final-sale or clearance Products (clearly marked as “Final Sale” on the Product page).

We will provide a pre-paid return shipping label (global) and step-by-step instructions. You must ship the Product back within 7 business days of receiving the return label—failure to do so may result in your return request being denied.
  • Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned Product (typically 3-5 business days after delivery to our warehouse), we will confirm eligibility and initiate a refund. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the order, and will take 5-10 business days to appear in your account (timing may vary based on your financial institution’s processing rules).
  • Refund Amount: Refunds will include the full purchase price of the Product (in USD). We do not charge restocking fees for eligible returns. If the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part (e.g., wrong Product shipped), we will also cover any incidental costs (if applicable).

5. Order Modifications & Cancellations

  • Order Modifications: You may request to modify your order (e.g., change Product size, update shipping address) only if the order has not yet been processed or shipped.   • Order Cancellations: You may cancel your order for a full refund if the order has not been processed or shipped. If the order has already been shipped, you will need to follow the return process outlined in Section 4 to receive a refund.

6. Product Availability & Descriptions

  • Stock Availability: Product availability is indicated on the Website (e.g., “In Stock,” “Out of Stock”). We make every effort to maintain accurate stock levels, but occasional discrepancies may occur (e.g., unexpected high demand). If a Product is out of stock after you place an order, we will notify you via email and issue a full refund.
  • Product Descriptions: We strive to provide accurate and detailed descriptions of all Products (including materials, dimensions, colors, and care instructions) on the Website. However, minor variations may exist (e.g., color differences due to screen resolution) and do not constitute a defect. We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, or Product offerings.
